The Gift is the latest book by Cecilia Ahern, the same lady who brought us P.S. I Love You. This is the first book of hers that I have read, and true to her name, she doesn't disappoint. Cecilia Ahern's writing is to-the-point and easy to read yet her presentation of the story is intriguing with a little twist and sense of mystery to it, which will set to tug at your curiosity. The story begins at the end and everything was revealed through the course of a separate incident.
If you could wish for one thing this Christmas, what would it be?
The Gift basically tells the story of Lou Suffern, whom has to constantly battle with the issue of time with his wife and family due to his succesful and busy career. Things took a turn when Lou invites a homeless man, Gabriel into his office building and into his life.
This book is a heart-warming and poignant tale of love, friendship, family and the true value of life.
Christmas is around the courner, create some alone time for yourself just for 1 night, curl up in your sofa and with some soft Christmas music in the background and a hot cocoa in one hand, immerse yourself in this book; I hope you will enjoy this book as much as i did.
Merry Christmas:)
